Referrals from institutions
Schools, courts, probation services and other organisations can use a dedicated referral channel. Each request is reviewed against the individual's needs and the services available.
How to refer someone
Use the dedicated institutional referral form. After the referral is reviewed, the team can discuss appropriate options.
Types of support
Depending on the circumstances, services may include an initial consultation, counselling, educational programmes, parenting courses or documentation.
Confidentiality
Information about the individual is not shared automatically with an institution. Any disclosure must have an appropriate legal basis and be limited to its scope.
Documents and court matters
An attendance certificate, a session report and a private opinion are different documents and should not be treated as interchangeable.
Frequently asked questions
Does a referral automatically start a programme?
No. The team first assesses the scope and conditions.
Can an institution request information without consent?
Disclosure requires an appropriate legal basis and verification of the requested information and recipient.
